So you are interested in becoming an internet marketer most likely due to some of these reasons like, being able to work from home, no more 9 to 5, more time with families and also there is a lot of money out there to be made as well. This is all true, but there are some harsh realities of this business too.

Internet Marketing has low start up costs at least it is much cheaper then getting your MBA, but you are still are going to need to get an education. I have tried many products and really have only found one that has the tools, the resources and the information I needed to make some success. One thing here though I am not trying to sell this product in this article, I am just explaining some of the truths of this business that sometimes is not being told.

If we do a search on this subject on Google or where-ever almost everything is saying how easy it is and how their product will make it happen overnight. Well it does not happen overnight and it is not easy at all and it is not cheap to compete.

You must realize that the guys who are in the top ten listings on the search engines for popular niches are the guys making the money and these guys also have the resources to keep themselves in that position. If you are just beginning do not believe that you can get yourself into these competitive niches. You will either need a ton of money to spend on outsourcing the work to SEO people in other countries or you will not get any sleep.

Other things are to get ranked on a search engine your site needs domain age too. If you just register a new domain, it will take at least two months to start to show in the search engines and if it does show it will be so far back in the searches that you may get only a small trickle of traffic.
